About

At Sunflower we offer bespoke financial planning advice to limited number of individuals, business owners, charities and trustees. By keeping the number of our clients limited we can offer you much more time and a bespoke experience both at outset and ongoing.

We see our role as a relatively simple but important one – to enable you to live a great life and not focus too much on the financial products you might own. How do we do this?

These 3 stages apply to all clients of all ages be they personal or corporate, saving for the future or already in retirement.

Our 3 stage process

* Life Plan - we undertake a high level overview. What’s your story, what’s important to you and what would your ideal future look like? Be bold, don’t hold back.

* Financial Plan - using client friendly interactive modelling we plot existing assets, income and expenditure both now and in the future. This paints a picture of what your financial future might look like and any associated risks. This also helps answer many of the common questions; Do I have enough, when can I retire, how much more or less do I need to save, how much more can I spend now whilst I am fit and able, how best do I pay for educational costs, what can I spend in retirement without fear or running out of money, what about the impact of care costs, how do I save tax now and in the future, can I afford to give this away? These are some of the common questions posed by clients. By creating a plan which is a mixture of known facts and projections we help create a bespoke financial road map which includes alternative versions and margin for error to provide you with confidence.

* Financial Advice - it is only after we agree on the plan we would make formal recommendations which might involve products as these are the “tools” to help you achieve your goals. This is the difference – many clients only experience this part of the process. However, why would you be doing anything without understanding the fundamental reason why? We aim to ensure you know what your goals are, what are the risks, how are you going to achieve your goals, what are the benefits and what are the associated costs.
